Either platform will kill Mario instantly (from accumulated damage) if he lands on it while dangerous. There are two types of platforms inside the volcano - spiked and flaming. You will be operating primarily with the Hover and Rocket nozzles, but the Turbo Nozzle will not be seen. This stage is simple and straightforward, however, if the lava is touched, you will lose a life automatically.
Whether you come out victorious or not, Delfino Plaza will be not be flooded anymore, and you can re-enter Corona Mountain.įollow Shadow Mario, but once you're in Corona Mountain, you will need to do some lava hopping in order to progress.
When you enter Delfino Plaza after clearing the final Shadow Mario episode, the whole town will be flooded, so simply chase him (in the back of the town) and enter Corona Mountain behind the highest pond on the hill, no longer blocked by a gate. After you complete the Shadow Mario episode in every world, you will be able to reach this final stage.
